Following former Republican Rep. Liz Cheney’s endorsement of Kamala Harris on Wednesday, flashback footage circulated showing the anti-Trump GOP congresswoman once acknowledged the Democrat presidential nominee is a radical leftist.

Cheney made her sentiments on Harris’ far-left agenda known during an interview with Fox News after Joe Biden picked her as his running mate during the 2020 race.

“As somebody who is a centrist and in one fell swoop here, he has put somebody on the ticket whose voting record in the Senate is to the left of Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren,” Cheney complained.

“So I think that, you know, the American people are gonna look at the substance of this. They’re gonna look at what she stood for in the past, they’re gonna look at what she said during the primary election, and it’s very clear she is a radical liberal.”

The former Wyoming House rep, who served on the mainly-Democrat Jan. 6 Select Committee, went on to highlight Kamala recommended spending $32 trillion on a Medicare for all program, and pointed out Harris’ anti-Second Amendment record.

“If you look at her record as well, in California, she did in fact essentially ban gun sales with executive action, and she threatened during the primaries to do the same,” Cheney said at the time.

The flashback video revealing Cheney is well aware of Harris’ radical record comes as she told a crowd at Duke University on Wednesday that she’d be voting Kamala in November, claiming Trump poses a danger to democracy.

“As a conservative, as someone who believes in and cares about the Constitution, I have thought deeply about this, and because of the danger that Donald Trump poses, not only am I not voting for Donald Trump, but I will be voting for Kamala Harris,” she said.

Indeed, supposedly non-partisan political ranking service GovTrack in 2019 ranked Kamala the “most liberal compared to All Senators,” before quietly deleting its scorecard after Democrats selected her as Biden’s replacement.

Cheney’s endorsement speaks volumes about her so-called conservative values, and reveals why many have dubbed her a RINO.
