YouTuber and boxer Jake Paul threw his support behind Donald Trump Thursday, posting a lengthy video on social media explaining to his millions of followers why he’s supporting the former president’s reelection bid.

Admitting he was “nervous” and “scared” to make the video because of the current politically fraught climate, Paul went on to lay out several strong arguments for why his fans should consider following his lead.

“I don’t come to you to make this video to create more division. I believe love is the key to the universe and that we should all love each other more and more and more and it saddens me that in the current political state of the world in America people can’t have opinions without outrageous backlash.”

“Most of your favorite celebrities, athletes, all of that are secretly conservative because the left has created a world where conservatives like me speaking out have major, major consequences,” Paul said in the video shared on YouTube, X and Instagram.

“I’m putting my business, my career on the line during my peak going into fight Mike Tyson… because I don’t give a f*** what the consequences are,” Paul said.

“Look at the facts. Think for yourself. Don’t be a sheep in this world full of sheep,” Paul urged.

“God has sent me here to tell you this message,” Paul said, adding, “and pushed this in front of me and put this on my plate to do this. Do the right thing: vote for Donald Trump.”

The popular YouTuber also noted he took exception with comedian Tony Hinchcliffe’s joke at Madison Square Garden about Puerto Rico, where the fighter resides, but brushed it aside as a “stupid joke.”

Following July’s assassination attempt, Paul expressed his belief that God had spared Trump’s life to bring America back to greatness.

“I think there would have been a civil war if it had hit him,” Jake said of the would-be assassin’s errant bullet. “But I think that’s the divine intervention. For sure, I believe that God stepped in and saved him.”

The former president has obliged Paul and his brother Logan by appearing with them in multiple TikTok videos, as well as the Impaulsive podcast.

Trump’s unlikely relationship with the Paul brothers comes as other Gen Z social media influencers and content creators have pledged support for the former president.
