Trump held a rally in the Bronx earlier this year and made a campaign stop at a barbershop earlier this month to great fanfare.
Madison Square Garden is home to the New York Knicks and one of the most famous arenas in the world, having hosted many events, including the “Fight of the Century” match between Joe Frazier vs. Muhammad Ali, the Ice Capades, concerts by The Beatles, Led Zeppelin and Elvis Presley, as well as the Democratic National Conventions in 1924, 1976, 1980 and 1992, and the Republican National Convention in 2004.
The sold-out rally is expected to host upwards of 20,000 people.
