Most Americans believe the Biden administration is intentionally allowing gas prices to rise, according to a new poll.
A survey conducted by the Trafalgar Group between May 25-29 asked, “Do you believe the Biden Administration is intentionally letting gas prices rise to make Americans use less fossil fuels?”
53% said “yes,” they believe the Biden administration is allowing it to happen purposely to force Americans to use less fossil fuel.

Another 39.6% do not believe that is the case, and 7.4% are unsure.
Opinions are sharply divided along party lines, with 77.3% of Republicans answering “yes” while 68.7% of Democrats answered “no.”
The majority, 56.5% of independents also answered “yes”, the Biden administration is intentionally letting gas prices rise to force Americans away from fossil fuels.
The poll comes as gas prices hit an all-time record high, with $5 a gallon now the national average.
Members of the Biden administration, and even Biden himself, have said aloud that rising gas prices is part of a “transition” away from fossil fuels.
