An MSNBC panel worryingly discussed how Joe Biden’s policies resulting in soaring inflation, crime, and gas prices are derailing the Democrats’ hopes of winning the 2022 midterms.
The panel was led by “Morning Joe” anchors Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski, with Rev. Al Sharpton, former New York Mayor Bill de Blasio, columnist Mark McKinnon, and activist Lauren Leader acknowledging that radical Democrat policies have jeopardized their chances of winning the midterms.
Brzezinski kicked off the discussion Monday by laying out how destructive Democrat policies – including socialism, soft-on-crime measures, and attacks on free speech – are “hurting the party” by alienating middle America and minorities that typically align with their values.

Leader said smart messaging isn’t enough to buoy the Democrats through the midterms, noting that Americans are paying close attention to the cost of groceries and fuel.
“If all those unemployed people can’t buy groceries, we have a serious problem,” Leader admitted. “It’s more than just messaging. It’s more than whether or not Democrats have a slogan that says ‘Democrats Deliver’.”
“It’s what are we actually going to do to intervene to try to lower prices, lower inflation? Until people see that happen and feel it in their pocketbooks, I don’t think the messages matter.”

Democrats “are doomed.”

Sharpton then pointed out that all these problems sprang up once Democrats came into power and that minorities are taking notice.
“Let’s remember, all of this happened while the Democrats were in power. You told us to put you in power, we put you in power, and now I can’t afford the life I’m living,” Sharpton said. “You gotta tell me how you’re going to deal with that, because I put you in power to understand me.”
Scarborough also lambasted “white woke liberals” for driving most major minority blocs from the Democrat Party and into the arms of the Republicans, calling it a “major blindspot” for “beltway” Democrats.
“Black voters are more conservative than you are,” Scarborough said in a message to DC Democrats. “Hispanic voters are more conservative than you are. Asian-American voters are more conservative than you are. They’re more conservative on crime, on education, on ‘these woke issues.’ Get off of Twitter!”

The latest polling from CBS News shows Democrats are poised for a major defeat in the 2022 midterms, with two-thirds of Americans saying the US economy was “bad”, and highlighting inflation, crime, and the Russia-Ukraine conflict as top priorities for voters.
