Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., President Donald Trump’s nominee to head the Department of Health and Human Services, faced a heated confirmation hearing in the US Senate Wednesday where he clarified his positions and outlined his intentions with the federal public health agency.

RFK Jr. said he’d work with the USDA to improve agriculture programs for farmers.
Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wisc.) pointed out RFK crossed the political aisle in order to help the Trump administration address public health issues.
RFK responded the agency should be accountable to the American people.
Sen. Michael Crapo (R-Idaho) also gave RFK the opportunity to address rumors he’s a “conspiracy theorist.”
However, the confirmation hearing soon descended into chaos as Democrats attempted to mischaracterize him as a fringe anti-vax activist who has bent his morals to join the Trump administration.
RFK Jr. shut down Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto (D-Nevada) after she asked him if he would be a “rubber stamp” for the Trump administration.
Sen. Maggie Hassan (D-N.H.) promoted childhood vaccines and went on to flash stats of an abortion drug while asking RFK why he’s allied himself with the new pro-life administration despite his own pro-choice stance.
Vaccine-worshipping Sen. Ron Wyden (D-Ore.) also tried cornering Kennedy on previous comments he made about vaccines on Lex Friedman’s podcast, which Kennedy clarified.
Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) questioned whether Kennedy will use his position to benefit himself financially “down the line.”
Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) also went on an UNHINGED RANT about onesies sold by RFK’s former organization Children’sHealthDefense.org.
Sanders also badgered him on whether he believed health care is a human right.
Another Democrat Senator, Tina Smith (D-Minn.), asked RFK if he believed SSRI anti-depressant drugs were linked to school shootings.
Ahead of the hearing, fake news reporters were already prepping article headlines with negative slants in hopes of seeing RFK go down in flames; however, he rose to the challenge and held his weight amid Democrats’ intense badgering.
