Sen. Lindsey Graham gushed over President Donald Trump for standing up to Volodymyr Zelensky during a meeting this week in Washington D.C. and called for the Ukrainian dictator to resign.

Zelensky visited the White House on Friday where he was expected to sign a key mineral rights agreement with the U.S. but instead was ejected from the building following an explosive exchange with the President and Vice President JD Vance.

“I have never been more proud of the President. I was very proud of JD Vance for standing up for our country,” Sen. Graham told the press.

“What I saw in the Oval Office was disrespectful and I don’t know if we can ever do business with Zelensky again. I think most Americans saw a guy that they would not want to go into business with.”

Graham blasted Zelensky for “the way he handled the meeting” in disrespectful and confrontational manner that was “over the top.”

“He either needs to resign and send someone over we can do business with, or he needs to change,” Graham concluded.

Sen. Graham, who has visited Ukraine at least eight times since war broke out with Russia, has effectively pulled a complete u-turn in his assessment of Zelensky, upon whom he has often heaped praise – as recently as this month.

“You’re the ally I’ve been hoping for all my life,” the notorious warhawk told Zelensky during a meeting in Europe two weeks ago.

“You’ve taken our weapons and you’ve kicked [Russia’s] ass. I’m very proud to have you as our ally.”

The United States has provided approximately $350 billion in aid to Ukraine since the start of the war, according to President Trump.
