More than a quarter of black men under 50 say they will vote for Donald Trump in this year’s election, according to a new poll released by the NAACP.

Black voters are a crucial demographic for the Democrats, demonstrating consistent loyalty to the party, but the Biden presidency appears to be weakening the allegiance of some sub-demographics.

Among black men, 26% under the age of 50 say they’ll vote for Trump, and 23% of black men over 50 say they’re either undecided or will vote for Trump.

Just 8% of black women say they’ll vote for Trump.

The majority of black voters—63%—say they still plan to support Kamala Harris, compared to just 13% who say they’ll vote for Trump.

The main issues for black voters, according to the poll, are the economy, crime and public safety. Just over 80% of black men listed economic issues, such as the cost of food and groceries and access to housing and utilities, among the most important issues facing the country.

The survey also found that messaging that emphasizes rights “being under attack” is most likely to influence undecided voters and young black men.

The survey interviewed 1,000 registered Black voters across the US from Aug. 6 to Aug. 12.
