The mainstream media and establishment politicians are promoting one of the biggest lies of this election cycle as they simultaneously promote the false claim that GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump called for RINO Republican Liz Cheney to be killed by a firing squad during an onstage conversation with journalist Tucker Carlson in Glendale, Arizona, Thursday.

Outlets such as The Drudge Report, Newsweek, MSNBC, CNN and dozens of others told their millions of followers “Trump calls for Cheney’s execution” along with various misleading headlines.

In reality, Trump clearly called Cheney a war hawk who sends Americans to die in wars while refusing to fight in a war herself.

Speaking about former Vice President Dick Cheney while onstage with Tucker, Trump mentioned “his daughter” Liz Cheney, saying she’s “a very dumb individual.”

“She’s a radical war hawk,” Trump continued. “Let’s put her with a rifle standing there with nine barrels shooting at her okay? Let’s see how she feels about it, you know, when the guns are trained on her face. They’re all war hawks when they’re sitting in Washington in a nice building, saying, ‘Oh, gee will. Let’s send ten thousand troops right into the mouth of the enemy.’ But, she’s a stupid person, and I used to have meetings with a lot of people and she always wanted to go to war with people…”

Playing victim while lying to the public, Cheney responded, “This is how dictators destroy free nations. They threaten those who speak against them with death. We cannot entrust our country and our freedom to a petty, vindictive, cruel, unstable man who wants to be a tyrant.”

MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” pushed the false claim, saying Trump talked “about sending a prominent Republican to the firing squad.”

CNN anchor Kasie Hunt also said Trump suggested Cheney “should be fired upon.”

Journalist Glenn Greenwald, founder of The Intercept, called the blatant lie “one of the most pathetic media lies about Trump in awhile.”

Explaining what actually took place during the Trump and Tucker sit-down, Greenwald wrote, “Trump was making the valid — and important — point that, like many in DC, Liz Cheney is a maniacal warmonger because it’s never her or her dad that endures the horrors of war.”

X owner Elon Musk put it bluntly, writing, “The diplomats want war and the soldiers want peace.”

The media and Democrats are becoming more hysterical as Election Day approaches.
