Joe Biden’s press secretary Jen Psaki balked when asked why the massive caravan of 15,000 Haitian migrants in Del Rio, Texas aren’t being screened for COVID-19.
Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy asked Psaki at a Monday press briefing: “If somebody walks into the country across the river, does somebody ask them to see their vaccination card or a negative Covid test?“
Psaki didn’t confirm whether the migrants were subjected to COVID testing – let alone vaccination cards – but said the Haitian migrants are “assessed” for COVID symptoms.
“As individuals cross the border, they are both assessed for if they have any symptoms, if they have symptoms the intention is for them to be quarantined,” Psaki responded.

“They’re not intending to stay here for a lengthy period of time. I don’t think it’s the same thing. It’s not the same thing,” she added.
The Biden administration has begun the process of deporting some of the approximately 15,000 Haitian migrants back to their home countries to deal with the political fallout of the crisis.
However, the border patrol are allowing many more Haitian “family units” into the U.S. with no strings attached.
And Infowars reported Sunday that another caravan 20,000-strong is currently on its way to the doorsteps of McAllen, Texas, some 330 miles southeast of Del Rio.
