Update: James O’Keefe has provided an exclusive statement to Infowars clarifying his removal as CEO of Project Veritas. The article has been amended to reflect this.
“I need to make clear that I have not resigned from the company that I founded. On February 10th, while I was on PTO mandated by the Project Veritas board of directors, the board had a meeting.
The minutes of the meeting were shared with me and I was stripped of my position as CEO and Chairman of the board of Project Veritas. I came to the PV office today to remove my personal belongings and share truth with our staff.
I do not know why the board took these actions, why they released untrue statements about my status while I was on mandated leave, nor why they chose this timing to act.
I will continue my work as a journalist.”
Project Veritas founder James O’Keefe has been removed as CEO by the organization’s board of directors on Monday.
O’Keefe released a video on Vimeo claiming he was “stripped” of his authority as CEO and removed from the board of directors.
This comes over a week after the Project Veritas board of directors put O’Keefe on paid leave under mysterious circumstances.
The timing of the PV board of directors benching O’Keefe led to speculation that O’Keefe was the victim of an internal coup or hostile takeover, possibly due to outside political pressure after releasing bombshell video of Pfizer Director of Research and Development Jordon Walker making explosive claims about gain of function research and the experimental COVID vaccine.
Many have warned that Project Veritas risks discrediting itself should O’Keefe be removed from the organization he started, especially after its most successful undercover video release to date.
If @JamesOKeefeIII leaves, I will no longer support @Project_Veritas and will support whichever venture he starts instead. My source says that the rank and file employees are STILL WITH JAMES, the board needs to realize PV will likely not survive if the go through with this!
