According to Lt. General Michael Flynn, President Donald Trump is open to serving as the Speaker of the House if he gets enough votes from Congress.

Flynn told The Western Journal Trump’s answer was “I will do it,” when the general asked him about the potential speaker role over a phone call.

Trump was officially nominated for Speaker of the House on Thursday by Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL).

Arizona’s GOP gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake also said she talked with Trump about the possibility of him being elected speaker.

She told The Western Journal, “I talked to President Trump last night and told him he would be great and he should do it. [I said] that he could take Congress from the most hated branch of [government] to the favorite branch.”

Despite the fact that he’s not a sitting member of Congress, Trump could still be selected to serve as Speaker of the House, and he could even run for president in 2024 and simply leave his position if elected.

Could you imagine the Democrat and media reaction if this were to actually happen?
