Rock musician and multi-time Infowars guest Rick Derringer died on Monday in Ormond Beach, Florida, at the age of 77 with no cause of death announced at this time.

Derringer, who was a supporter of President Donald Trump and friend of longtime Trump advisor Roger Stone, was a teenage rockstar as a teenager in the 1960s when he was the lead singer for the McCoys, who had massive success with the hit song “Hang on Sloopy.”
“So sorry to hear of the passing of my friend Rock Legend Rick Derringer last night. A great entertainer, a great songwriter and a great patriot,” Stone wrote on 𝕏 Tuesday.
In the 1970s, Derringer wrote the classic track “Rock and Roll, Hoochie Koo” that was made famous by the band Johnny Winter And featuring Derringer on guitar.
Continuing his work with Johnny Winter and his brother Edgar Winter in the 70s, Derringer played guitar in their bands and produced their records featuring smash songs such as “Frankenstein” and “Free Ride.”
In the 80s, the music legend produced albums for Weird Al Yankovic and wrote the “Real American” intro song for wrestler Hulk Hogan, among various other projects.
Derringer found Christianity in the 1990s and became interested in conservative politics, continuing his epic music career throughout the 2000s and working all the way up to 2019.
