Speaking with Sean Hannity on Fox a few days ago, Vivek Ramaswamy warned Americans to expect the unexpected if Tuesday night’s presidential debate goes badly for Kamala Harris.
Of course, we all know that’s exactly what’s going to happen. Kamala’s a dead duck—and it’s not a Haitian that’s killed and cooked her.
Kamala Harris was a token DEI hire, a deliberate choice made after the death of George Floyd to help the Democrats harness that summer’s racial reckoning against Donald Trump. She served her intended purpose well enough, and was left for three years to preside over a portfolio of managed chaos. She was capable of that, at least.
But she’s not a president and never will be—even if she somehow ends up “winning” the 2024 election. Nobody liked Kamala Harris until a few weeks ago and, despite all the puff pieces and praise in the mainstream media—despite the fawning Tweets and the abysmal paid “brat” memes on TikTok—it’s pretty clear she’s no less unpopular than she was before.

Vivek Ramaswamy knows, and we know, Kamala Harris is going to be made to look as unlikeable and as stupid as she really is. There won’t be anywhere for her to hide.
“What I expect is that Donald Trump will once again run circles around Kamala Harris, just as he did with Joe Biden in that last debate,” Vivek told Hannity.
The question we really should be asking, said Vivek, is what will the Democrats do next?
Vivek reminded Hannity that this election’s first presidential debate, between Trump and Joe Biden, in which the President’s cognitive and physical decline was on shocking display for the world, was the catalyst for the palace coup that saw him forced out of the race, against what remains of his will (it’s got blonde hair and it’s called “Dr Jill Biden”).
There’s every reason to believe, Vivek continued, that another disastrous showing will be the catalyst for more drastic manoeuvring from the regime. It’s eight weeks until the election, which is plenty of time to hatch another plan.
Sean Hannity thought Vivek meant another change of candidates. But Vivek slapped down that suggestion, rightly I think. Yes, there are eight weeks until the election, but the ballots have been printed—and, as I’ve said before, it’s one thing to remove a senile white dude from the race without so much as a nod to cherished “democratic procedures,” and quite another to do the same to a woman, and not just a woman but a woman of colour.
It’s not going to happen.
Vivek made no specific predictions, merely warning Hannity, and the American people, that the Democrats will still “have many more tricks up their sleeve.”
Vivek has to watch his words. I don’t. Here’s what I think the Democrats will do. They’ll get rid of Biden and make Harris president within weeks.
So far, nothing has worked to make Kamala Harris more popular. The playing field has already been astroturfed more than a school field-hockey pitch. The Democrats are running out of options.
It’s well known that new presidents and heads of state generally receive a “bounce” when they take office. So why not? Why not get rid of Joe Biden?
After all, he’s serving no use now. He’s just sitting on the beach in Delaware, eating ice cream and snoozing in the sun. Nobody believes he’s carrying out the functions of the President of the United States, because he isn’t. (A recent analysis showed that Biden has spent over 40% of his presidency on vacation.)
This is how we must understand the recent revelations in the Hunter Biden tax-fraud case. I wrote about those revelations at the beginning of last month, in an opinion piece I titled “Joever At Last,” because it was clear to me the timing of those revelations was no coincidence.
Here’s what I said.
On Wednesday, a bombshell new court filing was introduced by prosecutors in Hunter Biden’s tax-fraud case, which is due to begin in September. You may remember that young Hunter has already been convicted of felony charges with regard to the purchase of a gun while he was high on crack cocaine, but he’s also facing three felony tax charges and further misdemeanors for allegedly failing to pay $1.4 million in taxes from 2016 to 2020.
The new filing goes beyond unpaid taxes. It alleges that Biden and certain business associates were involved in a scheme that saw them net $3 million, given to them by a Romanian oligarch, Gabriel Popoviciu, in exchange for political favours while Joe Biden was Obama’s vice president, back in 2015. Popoviciu was being investigated for corruption in his native Romania at the time of the payments, which ran between November 2015 and 2017.
According to prosecutors, Hunter Biden and his business associates “were concerned that lobbying work might cause political ramifications for the defendant’s father,” so they structured the deal in order to “[conceal] the true nature of the work he was performing.”
This is the first time that there has been any official acknowledgement of a link between Hunter Biden’s “business” dealings overseas and his father’s political role. This is the first official acknowledgement of the corruption of the Biden family—the “Biden crime family,” as they’re often dubbed.
I went on to say that these revelations would be the best way to get rid of the Bidens for good, and to make sure they kept their mouths shut and didn’t make any damaging revelations. The Bidens know where the bodies are buried—the ones with a functioning memory, that is.
A month later, I think it’s absolutely crystal clear this will be the play. Hunter Biden has already copped a guilty plea, to save his family from further damaging revelations, but that means he’s on his way to jail. Some form of clemency, perhaps even a presidential pardon, will be the offer in exchange for Joe Biden standing aside, and the family will grab it with both hands.
Kamala gets the White House.
Maybe she gets a bounce too.
And if not—then what?
