Does Joe Biden think it’s still 2008?

It certainly seems that way from what he said on Monday during a fear mongering speech on climate change.

After struggling with reading that climate change is “THE existential threat to humanity,” Biden then suggested that his administration will take action “by 2020.”

“And maybe most important, I’ve committed to – by 2020, we will have conserved 30% of all the lands and waters the United States has jurisdiction over and simultaneously reduce emissions to blunt climate impact,” Biden told those gathered at Lucy Evans Baylands Nature Interpretive Center and Preserve in Palo Alto, California.

In other sections Biden just didn’t even attempt to read stuff on the teleprompter:

It is possible that Biden simply didn’t finish saying the year, as he now often fails to finish the syllables in some words, instead trailing off into gibbering.

More likely he just got the year wrong, however given that a White House fact sheet released in March, states that the Biden administration plans to conserve “at least 30% of U.S. lands and waters by 2030”.

Maybe this goes along with the plan to build a railway across the Indian Ocean?

Elsewhere during the appearance Biden was paraded around by hand like a toddler by Democratic Rep. Anna Eshoo:

The latest gaffe comes after he bizarrely announced “God Save The Queen” during a speech on gun control in Connecticut.

Since he fell flat on his face a couple of weeks back, they’ve started rolling out a smaller staircase for him to walk up and down on AirForce One.

How is this guy going to last another five years in office?
