A Canadian Member of Parliament made a fool of herself on Monday by claiming that “honk honk” is actually an “acronym for Heil Hitler.“
Liberal Party MP Ya’ara Saks made the ridiculous remarks during House of Commons proceedings on Thursday while arguing in support of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s invocation of the Emergencies Act.
“As a Jewish member of Parliament and a descendant of survivors of the Holocaust, as well, I, like many Canadians, was shocked to see Nazi and Confederate flags. I was dismayed and angry and hurt, horribly hurt,” Saks said, referring to a masked provocateur who was promptly shamed and expelled by Convoy protesters when the demonstrations first began.
“So how many Nazi flags does it take? How many donors from the Capitol riots — it’s 1,100 and counting who have donated to these illegal blockades — [does it take?]. How many guns need to be seized?”
“How much vitriol do we have to see of ‘honk honk’ — which is an acronym for ‘Heil Hitler’ — do we need to see by these protesters on social media?” she added.
Saks’ comments were widely ridiculed on social media, with one user pointing out that such a wild claim won’t be classified as “misinformation” by the media or Big Tech.
But this isn’t considered “misinformation”

The “Honk Honk” meme that sprang from the Freedom Convoy truckers has become a rallying cry against tyranny, which is exactly why politicians like Saks feel they need to demonize it.
Saks has repeatedly smeared the Freedom Convoy and its supporters as radicalized by “white supremacy” and “racism.”
She voted “yea” to authorize Trudeau’s martial law powers on Monday to crush the Freedom Convoy protesting draconian COVID vaccine mandates and other restrictions.
