After vowing to shut down coal plants earlier, Joe Biden told an audience that there will be “no more drilling” for oil, amid an embarrassing performance of flat out lying and stumbling around almost falling over.
During the speech in Westchester County, New York Biden addressed someone yelling in the crowd, presumably a climate protester, by promising them the U.S. won’t be sourcing its own oil under his Presidency:
The comments come after Biden announced that America will rely solely on wind and solar power:
Biden’s opponents immediately pointed out that this is lunacy:
His comments prompted the White House to scramble into damage control mode:
Elsewhere during Biden’s Sunday speech, he struggled to stay on his feet.
“Whoops! Stepping on a, there’s a, it’s black – uh anyway!”
At least there wasn’t a stage to contend with getting down from.
The rest of the speech was replete with the kind of bullshit Biden has repeated so many times now he probably believes it to be genuinely true:
