Deranged transgender activists occupied the halls of the Oklahoma state capitol Monday opposing bills that would criminalize gender transition surgeries for children.
The angry demonstrators chanted pro-trans slogans and carried signs claiming, “Trans rights are basic rights,” “My body, my freedom,” “We are not a threat so stop making us targets,” and, “Trans kids deserve health care,” in what one Twitter user dubbed a “transurrection.”

Many compared the images to the Jan. 6 “insurrection.”
SB 129 would prohibit doctors from performing “gender transition procedures” for anyone under the age of 26, and would “provide for criminal, administrative, and civil enforcement” for doctors who perform the surgeries.
The protest came as Gov. Kevin Stitt (R) delivered his State of the State address urging lawmakers to pass the bill to protect children from the unnecessary medical procedures.
“We must protect our most vulnerable – our children,” Stitt said Monday.
“After all minors can’t vote, can’t purchase alcohol, can’t purchase cigarettes… We shouldn’t allow a minor to get a permanent gender altering surgery in Oklahoma,” Stitt declared, receiving a standing ovation.
“That’s why I am calling on the Legislature to send me a bill that bans all gender transition surgeries and hormone therapies on minors in the state!”
