A pair of popular country musicians went viral this weekend after they each dissed Bud Light during their live concerts.
At a recent Brantley Gilbert show, the musician grabbed a can of Bud Light that was tossed onto the stage, held it up for the crowd to see and said, “Yeah, fuck that,” before slamming the can against the ground.
The crowd cheered and Gilbert was tossed a different brand of beer which he threw to his drummer who shotgunned the beverage.
During Riley Green’s Nashville concert on Friday, the singer substituted his own lyrics in the hit song, “I Wish Grandpas Never Died,” to say “Coors Light” instead of “Bud Light.”
The audience again cheered at the anti-Bud Light jab.
The public displays of frustration with the Anheuser-Busch product come on the heels of the company’s partnership with transgender activist Dylan Mulvaney, which cost the company billions of dollars last week.
