Kentucky Republican Congressman Thomas Massie and journalist Michael Shellenberger described how the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) used taxpayer money to fund an illegal coup against President Donald Trump in 2019.
USAID funded an organization that fabricated evidence which was used to impeach President Trump.

The Deep State frequently funds regime change efforts abroad, but when it uses taxpayer money to undermine our own government, isn't that treason? pic.twitter.com/7ow55Z5sqY
Shellenberger explained a CIA whistleblower named Eric Ciaramella issued a report during the first Trump presidency that resulted in a Democrat-led impeachment.
Ciaramella’s complaint used “evidence” from the USAID-funded Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP), which also played a role in the infamous Russiagate hoax.
Massie chimed in to point out that most people know the U.S. government has funded regime changes in foreign nations in the past, before asking, “Isn’t it borderline treason when the taxpayers – when organizations entrusted with protecting our country are now undermining our own government?”
The journalist agreed, saying, “Absolutely. I mean, if you’re trying to do regime change – illegal – if you’re weaponizing DHS, FBI, CISA, that’s treasonous regime change activities redirected – that we developed abroad for regime change – directed against the American people and our representatives.”
The GOP congressman then introduced an article titled, “Shellenberger: USAID Paid for Trump Impeachment Effort” into the congressional records.
The Deep State is being obliterated one day at a time, but We The People won’t be satisfied until the criminals are locked up.
