Texas police apprehended a human smuggler and nearly a dozen illegal aliens who were found hiding inside traffic cones in the back of a construction truck.
The wild bust unfolded in Webb County on August 3, but the Texas Department of Public Safety (TxDPS) just published footage and details on Monday.
TxDPS troopers attempted to pull over a suspicious Ford utility truck on I-35 when the driver took evasive action and led them on a high-speed pursuit.
The suspect, identified as Brownsville resident Israel Alexander Salas, eventually brought the vehicle to a stop and was hauled out and arrested.
During a search of the truck, troopers discovered 11 people concealed within orange safety barrels.
They were all determined to be Mexican citizens who were illegally present in the U.S.
Salas was charged with 11 counts of smuggling of persons with the likelihood of serious bodily injury and evading arrest.
The illegals were turned over to Border Patrol for processing.
Dangerous pursuits unfold constantly along the U.S.-Mexico border, as InfoWars frequently reports.
