Joe Biden on Tuesday night called Donald Trump supporters “garbage” in response to a comedian at Trump’s Madison Square Garden last Sunday who made a joke about Puerto Rico being a floating island of garbage.
Speaking about the Trump rally, Biden said, “The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters.”
After millions of Americans became upset over the comment, the Biden-Harris White House and mainstream media lapdogs of the Democrat Party started running cover for the senile puppet politician.
The official White House transcript of Biden’s remarks placed an apostrophe on the word supporters to make it read as if Sleepy Joe was calling the comedian, Tony Hinchcliffe, garbage and not Donald Trump’s base.
The official White House transcript needs to be immediately corrected. Notice the use of the apostrophe in the transcript

The official Joe Biden X account also put out a message walking back the “garbage” comment and claiming he meant to call the MSG Puerto Rico joke garbage, not Trump supporters.
Earlier today I referred to the hateful rhetoric about Puerto Rico spewed by Trump's supporter at his Madison Square Garden rally as garbage—which is the only word I can think of to describe it. His demonization of Latinos is unconscionable. That's all I meant to say. The…

Politico and the New York Times received the memo as one outlet added an apostrophe to Biden’s quote while the other wrote that he “appeared” to insult Trump supporters.

Politico just added an apostrophe to the quote, making it seem like Biden is just labelling one supporter as garbage.

The message said Biden and Harris “don’t just hate President Trump, they despise the tens of millions of Americans who support him.”
