Joe Biden on Tuesday night called Donald Trump supporters “garbage” in response to a comedian at Trump’s Madison Square Garden last Sunday who made a joke about Puerto Rico being a floating island of garbage.

Speaking about the Trump rally, Biden said, “The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters.”

After millions of Americans became upset over the comment, the Biden-Harris White House and mainstream media lapdogs of the Democrat Party started running cover for the senile puppet politician.

The official White House transcript of Biden’s remarks placed an apostrophe on the word supporters to make it read as if Sleepy Joe was calling the comedian, Tony Hinchcliffe, garbage and not Donald Trump’s base.

The official Joe Biden X account also put out a message walking back the “garbage” comment and claiming he meant to call the MSG Puerto Rico joke garbage, not Trump supporters.

Politico and the New York Times received the memo as one outlet added an apostrophe to Biden’s quote while the other wrote that he “appeared” to insult Trump supporters.

A CNN panelist blamed Biden’s longtime stutter for the remark.

During another CNN segment, an anchor asked GOP Congressman Byron Donalds (Fla.) for his response to Biden’s claim that he meant to call Hinchcliffe “garbage.”

Donalds said Biden’s comment is consistent with who he is and how he speaks about MAGA Americans.

MSNBC on Wednesday morning pushed the Biden administration narrative that he did not call Trump supporters garbage.

Some Democrats were smart enough to distance themselves from the comment, with Pennsylvania Democrat Governor Josh Shapiro telling CNN’s Kaitlin Collins he’d “never insult the good people of Pennsylvania or any Americans even if they chose to support a candidate” he didn’t support.

The Trump-Vance campaign posted a response, pointing out they’re backed by people from all backgrounds and yet Kamala Harris, Tim Walz and Biden “have labeled these great Americans as fascists, Nazis and now garbage.”

The message said Biden and Harris “don’t just hate President Trump, they despise the tens of millions of Americans who support him.”
