Citizens in Chatsworth, California, were filmed chasing a man down the middle of a road and tackling him to the pavement until the police arrived and cuffed the suspect after allegedly witnessing the guy trying to start a brushfire.

The suspect messed with the wrong guys as several men surrounded him while he was pinned to the street, with one of the men saying, “Wrong neighborhood, buddy! Wrong neighborhood!”

Law enforcement officers quickly arrived on the scene and placed the suspected arsonist in handcuffs.

A Traffic News LA photographer named Brandon Taylor captured the entire incident on film Monday.

“It’s one of those moments where you’re filming, and you’re like, ‘Wait, is this really happening in real life right now?'” he told Fox 11.

The 41-year-old suspect, Alejandro Martinez, told the cops in Spanish, “No he robado nada, en serio,” which translates to, “I haven’t stolen anything, seriously.”

Taylor was documenting a small brushfire when he saw Martinez in the area acting suspicious and started following the suspect.

“It just seemed a little strange that there was a guy there after a brush fire was reported just a quarter-mile up the road,” Taylor told the outlet. “And he’s in the bush doing something.”

Officers who searched Martinez found a lighter in his pocket, some cash and a car battery jumper kit.
