U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) announced on Wednesday a successful operation was carried out this week in the infamous Colony Ridge development just 30 miles north of Houston, Texas.
The multi-agency raid of the sprawling neighborhood known for violent cartel activity and a massive illegal alien population resulted in approximately 118 arrests.
ICE wrote on 𝕏, “Charges and convictions of those arrested include criminal sexual conduct, homicide, theft, negligent manslaughter, child sexual abuse, crimes of moral turpitude, weapons offenses and drug offenses.”
During the operation, Texas DPS received an alert about a homicide in Houston with an MS-13 gang member as the prime suspect.
“While Texas Department of Public Safety and ICE cleared an operation at Colony Ridge housing development near Houston, DPS got a call about a homicide in the city. Law enforcement identified an MS-13 gang member with a prior removal as the murder suspect. ICE Houston’s special agents helped DPS apprehend the suspect,” ICE wrote.
While the law enforcement operation was a success, many Texans are asking for Colony Ridge developers and owners to be held accountable for allegedly selling homes to known illegal aliens using false statements and “predatory” owner-to-buyer loans.
