A female driver narrowly escaped an armed carjacking on a secluded road in California last week, according to reports.
The harrowing incident unfolded at around 8:30 a.m. on Friday morning in Oakland.
A woman was driving in the Oakland Hills when a Dodge Charger in front of her suddenly stopped and blocked the lane.
Dash cam footage of what transpired has been circulating on social media.
The driver of the Dodge jumps out and sprints toward the woman while pointing a firearm at her.
A masked passenger also exits and makes a beeline for the other side of her vehicle.
“No!” the woman screams as one of the suspects pounds on her window.
She punches the gas, swerves around the Charger and speeds onward with the suspects in pursuit, as additional footage provided to KTVU shows.

The woman managed to escape to safety and notify authorities.
“I had the horn going. I was driving fast and hard, and I wouldn’t let them get up next to me,” the woman told KTVU. “Yeah, it was scary.”
She said she has driven that road for 38 years without issue but will now use different routes.
Oakland Police announced on Wednesday they had identified a suspect and that an arrest was “imminent.”
Authorities believe the suspect “may be linked to other carjackings in the East Oakland Hills.”
Infowars has been reporting on the surge of crime in the Bay Area and many other U.S. cities.
