Authorities in Texas encountered two more very young children who were smuggled across the border and abandoned with little more than a piece of paper containing contact information for someone in the U.S.

On Saturday, the Texas Department of Public Safety (TxDPS) rescued two girls under the age of 10 near the Rio Grande in Maverick County.

“TxDPS Troopers recovered two unaccompanied female children left abandoned by a smuggler in Eagle Pass who fled back to Mexico. The two children from El Salvador, ages 5 & 9, had a note with an address & phone number,” TxDPS spokesman Lt. Chris Olivarez explained in a statement on social media.

Lt. Olivarez shared a photograph of the girls with their faces blurred.

“This has to end,” Border Hawk correspondent Wid Lyman wrote in reply to Olivarez’s post.

The girls were turned over to U.S. Border Patrol.

A steady stream of ‘unaccompanied minors’ have been flowing into the Eagle Pass area in recent months, as InfoWars has frequently reported.

Last month, a girl claiming to be 2 years old was discovered among a group of more than 200 illegal aliens who entered Eagle Pass.

On Thanksgiving, a Texas trooper came upon a sobbing 10-year-old boy from El Salvador who had been deserted by a smuggler in a rural area of Maverick County.

The following day, surveillance cameras captured a man running into the U.S. with a 5-year-old girl in his arms.

The child was loaded into a waiting pickup truck but TxDPS pulled the vehicle over a short time later and arrested the driver, a Mexican citizen.
