Violet Affleck, the 18-year-old child of Hollywood stars Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck, spoke before the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday to demand more mask mandates and to make mask bans illegal.
Speaking very rapidly from under a Covid mask, the teenager said she “contracted a post-viral condition in 2019” and learned “that medicine does not always have answers to the consequences of even minor viruses.”

She continued, saying, “One in 10 infections leads to long Covid, which is a devastating neurological, cardiovascular illness that can take away people’s ability to work, move, see, and even think. Stands to exacerbate our homelessness crisis as well as the suffering of many people in our city. “
Violet went on to claim “long Covid” somehow “hits communities of color, disabled people, elderly people, trans people, women and anyone in a public-facing essential job the hardest.”
Next, Affleck cited a list of “demands” to “confront the long-Covid crisis,” including “mask availability, air filtration and far-UVC light in government facilities including jails and detention centers.”
The Hollywood stars’ daughter then demanded there be “mask mandates in country medical facilities” and called for the expansion of Covid testing and treatments.
“Most importantly,” she said, was for the county to “oppose mask bans for any reason.”
Earlier this week ex-Biden White House Covid Coordinator Dr. Ashish Jha mocked the “far-left” who, like Affleck, are “convinced that the pandemic is just as bad as ever and we all should still be masking indoors.”
The panicky rant went viral online with many people mocking the masked leftist for fearmongering about the pandemic.
