Late Monday night President Donald Trump announced that he had sent the U.S. military to California to turn the water on from the North West where water is abundant to the South West where it is scarce.
“The United States Military just entered the Great State of California and, under Emergency Powers, TURNED ON THE WATER flowing abundantly from the Pacific Northwest, and beyond,” Trump said in a social media post. “The days of putting a Fake Environmental argument, over the PEOPLE, are OVER. Enjoy the water, California!!!”
Interestingly, the California Department of Water Resources has denied that the military entered the state and said all is normal, nothing to see here.
“The military did not enter California. The federal government restarted federal water pumps after they were offline for maintenance for three days. State water supplies in Southern California remain plentiful,” the California Department of Water Resources said in a social media post.

The water being turned back on comes after Trump issued an executive order Friday titled ‘Emergency Measures to Provide Water Resources in California and Improve Disaster Response in Certain Areas’.
The order details the reason for its creation and what it hopes to achieve. It also states that it will override the state’s disastrous policies.
“For weeks, residents of the Los Angeles area have watched raging fires consume their homes, belongings, beloved pets, and childhood memories. Almost immediately, firefighters were unable to fight the blaze due to dry hydrants, empty reservoirs, and inadequate water infrastructure. Today, at least 28 people have lost their lives and thousands more have lost everything else, with some damage estimates calculating hundreds of billions of dollars in damage,” the order said.
Infowars reported on the lack of water California faced during the massive southern California blazes.
